These tea flowers are hand sewn in remote tea gardens in the Yunnan province of China. The new leaves are picked early in the season and are carefully sewn, shaped by hand and dried to ensure quality and freshness. Sound the trumpets!!! We are rolling out our Eco Friendly Economic Stimulus Packaging Option, basically our "No- Frills" option (I know you can read the title). For our customers that really don't care what their organic tea comes in (although I really like our packaging!!!), you can receive your custom teas in a plain glassine line paper bag. We would have to put the "required" wording, etc. on it and it wouldn't be pretty and colorful... Not using a canister, allows us to pass that savings to you, and what the heck, we'll even give you a little more tea, because we are so cool! 11 or 22 tea bags OR 32gms or 64 gms- depending on the size you order. If you like the tea, who cares what it comes in- most time it ends up in the trash... the package that is!!! THE DOWNSIDE TO THIS PROGRAM IS YOU CAN'T CUSTOMIZE THE LABEL :(

Below are several of our Base Black Teas. being the most processed of teas they took a vacation along with their friends, the Greens, The Oolongs, and the Tisanes. They liked it here so much they insisted on staying, being quality teas, we figured it was a win-win for us all! Each tea has its own signature taste and cultural story! So start the journey.

Keemun Imperial - This is our China Black tea. Keemun is noted for its natural sweetness and less astringent taste. With hints of red wine, cocoa and orchids, makes for smooth tea. Assam (India) Teas are a strong, full flavored tea. Dark, golden infusion, is often used as a base in "Breakfast Teas". ORGANIC and one of the highest grades. TGFOP Small Packet has 10 Bags. If loose 30 grams Large Round Container has 20 bags. If loose 60 grams.

Darjeelings are often called the "Champagne of Tea", grown in altitudes of 6000 feet have a delicate aroma. Darjeelings have a very limited harvest season (usually only twice a year - 1st and 2nd Flush) which accounts for its "higher price" as a tea.

Earl Grey- A traditional British blend. Popular morning breakfast tea. A blend of various "hardier" black teas with the oil of bergamot which gives this brisk yet silky cup of tea its citrus, even floral hints.
