Our "No Frills" packaging option: If you don't care about the labeling your tea comes in; we can always send you any of the teas below in our no frills package. You would still have the choice of having the tea come bagged or loose, it would just be packaged in a pretty plain looking bag... Don't worry it's still airtight in a glassine lined bag. All the required blah, blah, blah will be on it, just not a lot of bling. The up side to getting your tea this way is, less waste, less money (we save on ink use) AND a little more tea -the last one is our little extra surprise... but I guess we just spoiled it!

HERBS/SPICES - Why not add herbs and spices to the list of "choices" we offer? It's not like we don't have ENOUGH choices now! :) It's SOOOOO easy to spice up your concoction. Just add the herb from the drop down menu when you order any of your teas (signature of plain) and we'll blend the lucky herb in. If you want more than two herbs combined, let us know in the "Additional Information" section during check-out.

These tea flowers are hand sewn in remote tea gardens in the Yunnan province of China. The new leaves are picked early in the season and are carefully sewn, shaped by hand and dried to ensure quality and freshness. Enjoy this exceptional white or light green tea, some with hints of JASMINE. Watch these beautiful pieces of art unfold before your eyes.

Below are several of our Base Black Teas. being the most processed of teas they took a vacation along with their friends, the Greens, The Oolongs, and the Tisanes. They liked it here so much they insisted on staying, being quality teas, we figured it was a win-win for us all! Each tea has its own signature taste and cultural story! So start the journey.

When you see Ceylon Teas- these are teas that come from Sri Lanka. We created and use this base tea blend (from the Koslanda and Kenilworth Estates in Sri Lanka), for most of our signature blending.

Keemun Imperial - This is our China Black tea. Keemun is noted for its natural sweetness and less astringent taste. With hints of red wine, cocoa and orchids, makes for smooth tea. Extra bonus - a little less caffeine content than other Black teas!

Assam (India) Teas are a strong, full flavored tea. Dark, golden infusion, is often used as a base in "Breakfast Teas". ORGANIC and one of the highest grades. TGFOP

Darjeelings are often called the "Champagne of Tea", grown in altitudes of 6000 feet have a delicate aroma. Darjeelings have a very limited harvest season (usually only twice a year - 1st and 2nd Flush) which accounts for its "higher price" as a tea.

Earl Grey- A traditional British blend. Popular morning breakfast tea. A blend of various "hardier" black teas with the oil of bergamot which gives this brisk yet silky cup of tea its citrus, even floral hints. Being a blend of Black Teas, it'll give you that little "get up and go" feeling so you'll move your butt out the door a little faster!

Our "Mrs Grey" model didn't show for the shoot... so if this guy (our local stand in) looks mad... he is! Our Mrs. Earl Grey is a spin off of our Earl Grey (obviously). We've added a little lemon balm and a few sprinkles of lavender to our base Earl Grey to give it a more floral after taste. Almost a sweetness... like so many wives out there. Our base is a hardy Assam Black tea though.
