Cool me down I'm on FIRE!!! What better than a cool tall glass of iced tea. These packets are pre-packaged to make 1 gallon of iced tea. They come in a reusable muslin bag. Of course the bag will be stained after use- but what a way to get stained!

I look down the driveway the other night and I see a pumpkin staring at me. Next thing I know it rolls up to me and is all in my face! He says that because people have been hacking away at pumpkins for centuries that they (the pumpkins) deserve their own tea blend!!! Couldn't make the connection there... BUT he was angry and I was afraid for my life– I'm not kidding!! So we negotiated a “traditional Fall blend”. He also demanded that some of the proceeds go to the National Foundation of Pumpkin Reconstruction

I’m sitting at the table after the whole “Angry Pumpkin” deal; when there is a knock on the door. Thinking the “Pumpkin” wants more to the deal– I swing open the door. Before me, leaning on the door jamb is a ZOMBIE. He is smiling and says that people are afraid of “his type” and he wants to show the world that not all zombies are blood thirsty… well zombies. He suggested a "tropical" fun and happy flavored blend of Rooibos. Caffeine free so people can drink it at night and not worry about falling prey... he meant asleep I'm sure after enjoying it!

So there I was– kicking around an idea or two for a holiday blend.. Not the run of the mill sort of blend and name—but something people will be talking about at the water cooler for weeks… thus increasing interest which equates into increased holiday sales!- shallow but true :) I asked one of our elves… actually one of our blenders (not the electric kind- so don't try and make a joke here) and she suggested a White tea/rooibos with some peppermint leaves. The blend is a traditional winter blend. So an nontraditional name was up to me. “They made me wear this stupid hat and scarf holiday tea” was born!

NEW 2012 Blend: Apricot has long had her eye on blueberry. Some said it hinged on the verge of an uncontrollable passion! After a long and snowy weekend - trapped in a cabin on the side of a mountain; she made her move! When forbidden love is allowed to flourish... the tastes can be absolutely refreshing.

Our Egyptian Secret Tea (New for 2012) is just that... a secret - from Brian! A blending mistake was made and Brian doesn't know it. He thinks we sat down and taste tested dozens of blends to get what we wanted. A smooth and relaxing night time tea made with Egyptian Chamomile and a little almond rooibos tea... caffeine free as well.

The first choice of names was "Diablo Love Tea"... but "Dingo" seemed just a better name. The dog in the picture is Baco - a new (2 yrs ago) addition to our family. He's an Australian Blue Healer... ergo- "Dingo" just seemed to fit! A great tasting APPLE/PECAN Black tea - perfect for the morning or mid-afternoon. The contrasting "nutty" of the pecan works well with the "tangy sweetness" of the apple. Any proceeds from the sale of Dingo Love Tea will go to the "Send me back home to the land down under - Baco fund"
