Before you enter into this crazy world of tea and tea products, lets take a second and review... All the teas you purchase will have the steeping temps and times on them so don't worry if you lose your notes!!! A simple rule of thumb - THE DARKER THE BASE TEA, THE LONGER AND HOTTER YOU STEEP IT. Black Teas should be steeped with boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Where as Greens should be steeped with NEAR boiling water for only 1-2 minutes. Everything else falls in between. HERBALS like boiling water and a bit longer for their bath, to get the benefits to really come out and play. PLEASE use this only as a guideline- like anything we "taste", it's all about what and how you like it; loose or with bags, hot or iced, you get the point.
